McDonough's homer gives Rumson the win

RUMSON-FH 3, ST. JOHN VIANNEY 0: Mike McDonough's three-run, opposite field homer with two out in the bottom of the seventh gave the Purple Bulldogs (1-0, 1-0) a 3-0 victory over St. John Vianney (1-1, 1-1) in a Class A Central game.
Chris Langile walked with one out and D.J. Breckenridge walked with two out to set the stage for McDonough.
Ben Miller pitched three innings of two-hit relief with two strikeouts to pick up the win. McDonough struck out three and allowed four hits over the first four innings.
