FREEHOLD 5, NEPTUNE 3: Joe Quinones' two-run, two-out, bases-loaded single in the bottom of the fifth put the Colonials (1-0, 1-0) ahead to stay as they defeated the Scarlet Fliers (1-1, 0-1) in a Class B North game.
Jeff Frost folllowed Quinones' single with an RBI single.
Senior right-hander Matt Yuhas hurled a complete-game five-hitter and struck out seven.
Quinnones had two hits and three RBI and Frost also had two hits.
Chris Ace was 2-for-2 and Paul Sibol 2-for-4 for Neptune.
