Carpenter Cup Postponed
Monday's first round Carpenter Cup all-star baseball game between Jersey Shore and Delaware South was postponed by lightning. It has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Pennsylvania. Co-coach Todd Schmitt, head coach at Wall High School, said CBA senior ace Kyle Slate (11-1) will be the starting pitcher for the Shore team.
Schmitt also said slugger Pat Biserta (Point Boro) will not be able to play Tuesday (graduation) and that pitcher J.C. Menna (RBC) is a question mark.

The proper folks have been notified (I hope) by the Carp cup coaches ...Obviously the Cup Players are obligated for Tuesday ..if there are any questions people should e-mail me tonygsports@aol.com or call me 732-922-6000..ext. 4000...
Why is Menna a question mark?
He had a prior commitent for today..
