Colts roar past Jaguars
Jim Laufer belted a grand slam in the first inning and Dave Laufer a three-run shot in the fifth as the No. 2 seeded Colts (22-4) ousted the No. 10 Jaguars (20-8) in an SCT quarterfinal game, 13-5.
CBA will host St. John Vianney in a semifinal game tentatively set for Saturday.
Sophomore Nick Falcone took over on the mound for CBA in the third inning and struck out eight to gain his first varsity victory.
Junior Jordan Gilruth struck out the side for CBA in the seventh inning.
Dave Laufer finished with three hits to lead CBA's 14-hit attack.
