I caught the web broadcast of Todd's game last night, I think the guys that call the game are more impressed with the maturity of Todd than anything else. They compared him to a 10 year veteran instead of a rookie... they are extremely impressed on how Todd knows and plays the game of baseball
You mentioned the hot streak Todd is on right now. I think the most impressive thing about Todd is the ability to make contact. He only has 15 strikeouts in 27 games, which roughly is 1 strikeout every other game he plays.
My very optimistic guess is: Todd starts '08 at AA, then is moved AAA and - maybe even gets called up to the Reds at some point.

Jumping from Short Season ball to AA is pretty much unheard of. Although you never know with Todd. I think it would be possible for him to start '08 in LoA (Midwest League) and finish the season in HiA (Florida State League I believe). If he progressed well and handled the increase in quality of pitching (FSL is one of the toughest pitching leagues) he could see some time in AA.
The Ryan Zimmermans and Ryan Brauns of the world are the exceptions to the norm. I would think that Cincy will take their time w/ Todd to make sure he is making the right adjustments to the pro game....
You make a good point..perhaps he starts next year at high A....
The question mark may not be hitting but his position - SS or 3B.
I would not be surpised to see im in CF some day either...
Last summer with Team USA he exclusively played in the OF, I don't think he even logged an inning in the infield. At the time I think the scouts were projecting him as an OF but the Reds obviously veered away from that.
There was an article on BaseballProspectus.com today that speculated he could be moved to 3B due to issues with "Major League" range and a sub-par first step. When you can hit that well they FIND a place for you to field. Shouldn't be a huge concern but it will be fun to watch...
I think he ends up at 3B or OF...
I could picture Todd playing 3B or the OF in the big leagues... I wouldnt count out 1B if Todd contiues to baulk up and put some pounds on.
I think at this point they are fairly impressed at what they have seen at SS, it seems as though he has won the position and has become Billings every day starting shortstop.
I wouldnt be shocked to see him advance to the Dayton Dragon team later this month. It wouldnt be surprised to see him get a few swings in at the advanced "A" Florida State League to start 2008 either
Todd does have four errors at SS...
Hey there Tony, not sure if you heard about this yet:

4 errors in almost 30 games... cant complain there too much Tony
In addition, Todd's older brother, Jeff got promoted back to AA the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx
Re Jeff: Good for him. Hopefully he can keep swinging a live bat.
