Wrestling:Jackson coach to head Rutgers (more on Press front page site)

This has been on the Press web site since 11:20 this am. Just wanted to mention it here in case anyone might have missed it there who would be interested.



NEW BRUNSWICK — Scott Goodale, who led Jackson Memorial High School to the top of New Jersey wrestling, has officially accepted the job as the head coach at Rutgers University.Goodale is one of the most successful coaches in recent New Jersey history. In his seven seasons, the Jags have gone a combined 156-15 and have captured four NJSIAA Central Group 4 sectional and back-to-back Group 4 state titles the last two seasons./p will get the opportunity to lead Rutgers University to new heights.”It is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up," said Goodale, who will meet with the wrestling team from Rutgers Wednesday. He called Rutgers with his decision at 9:30 a.m. after spending the night discussing the move with his family.
