Frazier goes deep twice in two games

Todd Frazier socked his first professional home run, a first inning solo shot Sunday for those Billings, Montana Mustangs, and then hit a three-run shot in the first inning Monday night. He went 1-for-4 in the Monday game.

After a relatively slow start was 4-for-10 in games Friday, Sat., and Sunday to lift his average to .276 through Monday night.. ..

Seems like Todd maybe hitting his groove... we all knew it may take a few weeks before he adjusted to the professional game. It would be nice to see him raise that average up another 30-40 points to be hitting around .310. Cincy expects him to be a power/gap hitter. 9 RBI's in 12 games played, I think most teams would take that. Also has played solid defense at shortstop. Todd will only get stronger as the season continues.

Another game winning hit for Todd Frazier tonight. Frazier is now batting over .300 and has 11 RBI's for the Billings Mustangs. Interesting to note, the Mustangs have won 12 of 16 games since Todd's arrival.

His older brother Jeff has been on a hot streak with the High Desert Mavericks the past two weeks. Jeff's batting average is well above .350 for the year. I'm guessing the Seattle organization will have to take a serious look at moving him back to the Double A level with the way he's hitting the ball right now. Jeff also came up with the game winning 2 RBI double for his team on Saturday night
