Didn't digital sports do this same thing but had it available earlier in the week?

Re: D sports. I have no idea.

We just started this for football Wednesday.

My thinking, at this time, is not to put them up earlier than mid week, and h we may also post other poll subjects (as they bounce across my brain).

If fans would like the pick'em polls up earlier, we can certainly do that.

Yeah, Digital Sports has had it since the beginning of the season. Whoever, gets the most picks right, gets a gift certificate of something.

I like the polls!

My picks:

LB -> RBC has not proven themselves yet. Their opponents seem pretty weak. Maybe they'll prove me wrong to justify their high place on top 10 lists! LB just seems like the tougher team.

Howell & MS -> doubt either team would lose 2 weeks in a row! Especially MS.

CN -> just because I think they're better than Manalapan.

FYI: D sports does it differently and it is a contest. You play it like fantasy football pick 'ems (Yahoo and such). They make their picks and you make yours for all games that week. If you beat them (pick more winners than they do) you go in a drawing for the GC.

With the current season about two thirds over, maybe you can help give readers a boost up on next season, by giving a review of the sub-varsity programs and tell us who's hot and who's not. I think that football fans of the Jersey Shore would be interested to see how both the JV and freshmen programs are doing against each other this year. After all these will be the kids who are playing for the next couple of seasons and it will give us an indication of where each schools program is headed.
