Shore Conference Tournament after Wednesday action/Your picks? Mine in bold
Who do you think wins it??
My picks in bold.Here is the current field for Saturday semifinals:
No. 8 Colts Neck. at No. 4. Ocean. OK...I have gone with CN all the way so far. They will probably pitch - my guess - Ethan Jackson (6-1) vs. Ocean. My guess is Ocean comes back with Kyle Norman (8-0) in this one.
Ocean bounced CN in the 2006 CJ 3 final. This is an older, more experienced CN club. But this is a battle tested Ocean team as well seeking to get back to the NJSIAA Group III final. Both teams have solid lineups. Only one team has Keith Weinkofsky.

No. 2. CBA vs. 11. SJ Vianney . SJV gave the Colts a scare Tuersday falling in the states, 4-3. If Kyle Slate, who got the last out Tuesday to save the game for Dave Laufer, pitches into the fifth inning Friday in the state tournament, he won't be eligible to save the day this time. Both teams swing the bats, but the Laufers continue to smash the ball. Have to go with CBA.
Overall winner: Ocean.

Is it true that the Laufers are not really twins?? I heard they are actually ONE person and Coach Kenny finds a way to let him bat twice in the line up !!! LOL
I have a hard time NOT picking CBA over anyone the way they are pitching and hitting right now
The real clever move is how Marty gets Laufer to play 1B and pitch at the same time!
CBA has an outstanding team and everyone contributes, hence team!
