Game reports:


Ocean got used some big hits and some little ones Tursday to outlast West Windsor North, 8-7, in an NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III semifinal game.
Ocean's defending sectional champions will host Allentown Friday in the sectional final after the Redbirds edged Wall Tuesday, 2-1.
Ocean (22-4), which trailed 4-2, used a three-run double in the sixth with two outs by Keith Weinkofsky (3-for-4) to snap a 4-4 tie and a squeeze bunt by Tony Desantis made it 8-4 in the seventh.
Jamie Rosenkranz came on in relief and struck out the last hitter with the tying run at first base after the Knights (22-5) scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh.
The game marked Ocean's fourth consecutive appearance in a semifinal game.
""These kids are battle tested,'' said Del Dal Pra, Ocean coach. ""They know each game gets tougher and tougher and you have to dig down a little deeper.
""It was a very hostile environment but after playing some big games in Toms River over the years we were ready for these type of battles.
""We've been Toms River tested in the past so we know we what it's like to be screamed at by fans and by the other team.''
""They do us a favor by getting us ready to play in the state tournwment.''
Ocean tied the game in the fourth on a two-out, two-run single by Dave Kaczka.
Willy Rodriguez stole two bases and scored each time after Weinkofsky's doubles.

ALLENTOWN 2, WALL 1: Ethan Perro hurled the first six innings and Anthony Gambino completed a no-hitter for the Redbirds (16-5) who used two unearned runs to move on to visit Ocean Friday in the CJ III final.
Wall (20-6) scored in the seventh when Dan Camano walked, courtesy runner Nick Gacos stole second, took third on a wild pitch, and came home on a sacrifice fly by Christian Ranaudo.
Anthony Cinelli grounded out to end the game.
Brandon Miles of Wall scattered nine hits, fanning five, in going the distance.
Allentown's Jeremy Valesi reached on an error and scored in the third inning for Allentown and Rob Juliano singled to make it 2-0 in the fifth.

STERLING 5, MANCHESTER 1: Ryan Casey, who entered the SJ II semifinal in the third inning, yielded a two-run double to the second batter he faced but struck out 13 over the final 4.2 innings.
It was too late, however, to save the season for the Hawks (15-9) who fell behind the Knights (17-10) 5-0 after three innings.
Allen Robinson singled for his 27th RBI for the senior in the fifth inning for Manchester.

PENNSVILLE 2, POINT BEACH 1: Terry Holgate's RBI single wiuth two outs in the bottom of the seventh foiled the Garnet Gulls (13-12) in a South Jersey I semifinal.
Point Beach, bidding to return to a sectional final for the first time since 2001 took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on when Sam Sciamarelli scored on a fielder's choice.
Pennsville tied the game in the fifth inning.
Craig Gourley scattered three hits over 5.1 innings striking out seven for Point Beach. Colin Trautman took the loss in relief.
