Carpenter Cup team advances via the weather/Geran commits to Monmouth U; Casey to Jersey Blues, Miller to Rowan

This from coach Todd Schmitt (Wall, Carp Cup co-coach) - " Todays game was again a rain out. However Delaware South can not field a team for the required rain date, so we were moved forward to the next round by the Carpenter Cup officals."" We play Monday June 18 at 1:00pm."

As far as I can tell they will play SOL National/BiCentennial, which topped Berks County, Pa., 6-5.

Well.. they got by that first game!!!

Got word from their respective high school baseball coaches that recent college commitments include TR North senior senior ace Chad Geran to Monmouth U. , Manchester's Mr. Versatility - Ryan Casey - will play for Brookdale, and Rumson pitcher Ben Miller to Rowan....

Congrats to The boys of the Carpenters Cup! Still wish Rosario from Monsignor Donovan was on the team. He also has committed to Brookdale

Re: Mercer County Park. No.....we don't cover that game. You can OD on all-star games after a while.

grades had nothing to do with Rosario's decision to go to Brookdale instead of St. Peters, everyone always thinks that just because you choose a JR. College instead of a 4 year school. Brookdale is a great baseball school. They should have one heck of a good team. Weinkofski is also going to brookdale after he signed with NC greensboro.
