Point Beach improves to 3-0/Best start in over a decade

Sam Sciamarelli went 2-for-3 and scored two runs as the Garnet Gulls (3-0) defeated Staten Island Academy (0-3) for the second time in three days.
According to Asbury Park Press records Point Beach is 3-0 for the first time since opening 4-0 in 1997.
