hey..good job on the play-by-play updates! thanks!
In the bottom of the eighth when Doyle hit the sac fly with 1 out dehart never tagged up at first so all north had to do was throw the ball to first to get the double play and end the inning.

To anon on Dehart at first.
Just to clear this up..spoke with Shore umpire chief Vinnie Smith minutes ago.
...NO DP was in order. Runner at first has no responsibility on this ..once the ball was caught. No tagging up necessary, etc.
Now..if it was a single to center..runner on first must advance to second..if he does not he can be force at second and that would have been the third out of the inning and the run would not have counted..that did not apply in this instance, however.
