Carpenter Cup note
For what it's worth the Chester, Pa. team that eliminated the Shore team won the Cup. That, I believe, makes it three years in a row the Shore team has been ousted by the team that went on to win the championship.

What years did the all-shore teams win the carpenter cup? Has the talent levels remained the same as in prior years?
They won - I believe - in 2002 - behind a pitching staff led by Ryan Doherty of TR`East - and in 1994 - Marc Fink's senior year.
I thought this team in 2007 was the strongest and had the best shot since 2002...
