Player of the Year: TUNA (breaking the Shore Conference HR record seals the deal)
Coach of the Year: Schelmay (TRN) North, although they didnt win the big games, was probably the biggest surprise of the Shore Conference this year
#1: Tough call, but it would have to go to Colts Neck (they beat CBA, Ocean Twp and TRN)
Coach and TEAM of Year HAS to be Colts Neck and their Coach hands down..
Player of the year is a REAL tough one but I gotta give it to the TUNA over SLATE. Kyle pitched his
%$#$% off.. 12-1 and almost NO ERA !!!but he only helped his team every 3-4 days on the mound...Keith played it out every day, behind the plate and produced unbelievable numbers..How does anyone hit 11 HR's and 10 2B's in like only 80 AB's The kid got THREE free passes in a state semi final from a pitcher that's gonna pitch for UVA next year..that's respect at the plate..I wish you had pitcher and player of the year it would be easy to peg it then.

Some interesting choices so far...At this point one person has hit all three on the nose...
You have to be kidding me !!!Slate won 11 games!! His ERA was nothing! There is no other choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant see how Del DelPra from Ocean wins Coach of the Year. This team was expected to easily win their division (didnt happen), should of been in at least the championship game of Monmouth and Shore Conference Tournaments (didnt happen)
Ocean won Central Group III sectional championship (barely). In my opinion, bigger things were expected from this team.
Coach of the Year should either go to the Colts Neck coach or Schelmay (TRN) or the Jackson head-coach this year.
I'm curious on who got all three right.
For anyone still awake (including myself) I will post the 2007 Final Top 10 and the Player and Coach of the Year around midnight..give or take a few minutes....
