Mariners sail past Mustangs

TOMS RIVER NORTH 10, BRICK MEMORIAL 4: Chad Geran belted a two-run homer and scored four runs and Mike LaCava and Billy Hoermann also both slugged two-run homers as the Mariners (2-1, 2-1) defeated the Mustangs (0-2, 0-2) in a Class A South game.
C.J. Alonso went 2-for-3 and had three RBI and Zach Brebner scattered 11 hits and struck out three over the first six innings for Toms River North.
Tom Lawler went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Brick Memorial.
