what about Colts Neck?
They played at 2pm...as soon as they call I will post the score...
Its starting to look like a real good day for the Shore teams.
Sure is!
I think the most impressive win today in the Shore Challenge has to go to Toms River South, they beat a solid Bergen Catholic squad in the night-cap at BlueClaws rather easily.
TRS can be a tough team come tournament team, it seems like their young pitching maybe finally coming around (minus the TRE game)
I felt in preseason TRS was the class of Class A South. A kiss of death if there ever was one.
Among the TRS, TRN has displayed the best pitching so far.
The SCT and OCTs should be fascinating.
I honestly believe that both Toms River East and South would beat Toms River North given the chance to play them again... Of course, chances are pretty good that there will be another TR matchup whether its in the OCT, SCT or State tournament.
Who came up with the schedule that by the end of April, both Toms River East and South would be done playing Toms River North.
The Shore Conference does the scheduling for all its 44-45 some schools ..that's just the way it worked out this year...
BUT TR schools paths certain to cross again in either or OCT, SCT, and NJSIAAs, as all three are Group IVs this year...so it's a virtual lock TRN is going to have to run something of a TRS-TRE gauntlet yet again in 2007..
Should be fun for fans!
