How about that McNeal kid from barnegat... He shut down the high powered panther offense... The kids pretty legit huh?
Sam Redmond from Barnegat is batting over .500 as a sophomore and defensively he's solid, what are your thoughts?
My thoughts are: Can he replace Aaron Rowand in Philadelphia? (I wish!)
Seriously I've never seen him or Barnegat play but I know how well they did last year as a first-year team and am not overly surprised at their success this year.
In my mind I have them picked to win B South next year..they might be pushing that envelope.

What about this year... They lost a nail biter against Manchester in the 7th inning... And defeated the favored Pt. Boro... What about this year?
Well...as I said about the envelope...I think they have to be taken seriously from here on.
I still have to wonder if their relative youth will hold up for the long haul.
But they've got a shot as long as their young pitchers continue to produce.
