Aitoro bails out Raiders in relief

TR EAST 7, SOUTHERN 4: Senior Frank Aitoro came in relief with one out and three runs in in the seventh inning and got a strikeout and a pop-up to first to end the game as the No. 3 Raiders (2-0, 2-0) held on to defeat the Rams (1-2, 1-2) in a Class A South game.
John Lighbody allowed one run and struck out three over the first five innings to pick up his second win in as many games.
Joe Somma went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the second and Frank DeHart singled in what turned out to be the winning run in the fourth for Toms River East.
Darren Schoeneberg went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the seventh for Southern.
