Shore downs Keansburg in eight innings
SHORE 4, KEANSBURG 2: Rob Somers drew a bases-loaded walk and winning pitcher Bill Cerruti knocked in a run with an infield out when the Blue Devils (2-0, 2-0) scored twice in the top of the eigth inning to spill the Titans (0-1, 0-1) in a Class B Central game.
Cerruti went the distance scattering six hits, struck out eight, and walked three.
Jordan Edwards had two hits and scored both runs for Keansburg, one on a single by Danny Carusotto in the fourth inning.
Joe Mickle allowed two runs on one hit over the first five innings for Keansburg which used three pitchers.
