Weinkofsky breaks HR record
Ocean Township senior catcher Keith Weinkofsky belted a two-run home run today in the first inning and a solo shot in the sixth of a 12-4 NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III win over Hamilton North to break the Shore Conference career home run record.
The home runs at Ocean's Robert Olshan Memorial Field broke the mark of 27 in a career a set by 1994 Jackson Memorial graduate Marc Fink .
Weinkofsky's home runs today were his eighth and ninth of the season.

I couldn't be happier for Tuna and his entire family. Tony that is an athletic family. I read that Keith's father played some professionally and I believe Keith's sisters (pretty sure they were twins) stared for Ocean a few years ago and both played softball in college. If I'm not mistaken one played for Brookdales National Championship team a couple of years ago, any other baby TUNA'S or TUNETT'S coming up in that family???!!!
Not certain....but this Tuna may be the last fish in the pond...I will check though...
