its a joke that these toms River teams go to fla. and play teams that are a joke, from other states and the shore conf. counts the stats they should be ashamed of themsevles for padding there stats against teams they beat by 10 or more runs eveery game

Firefly - glad to see we have an "expert" here on the caliber of opposition the TR schools are facing in Fla.

I think you should file a complaint with the Shore Conerence right away!

By the way - could it be that Shore Conference and NJ baseball overall is pretty good?

RE: Toms River Schools in Florida.
The fact of the matter is the Toms River Schools have no clue what type of caliber of teams they are playing... most of the time they dont even have a clue who they are even playing till they reach FL and find out what bracket they play in.

While most schools probably take these trips as "Spring Breaks", The Toms River Schools see them more as "Baseball Trips"

I'll agree with Tony on this one... maybe their competition isnt great, but these lopsided scores are probably due to the fact that the Shore Conference is that good. And dont forget that Toms River South is a very good baseball program. I believe they have put 10+ runs in 5 of their 11 games.

their scores just shouldn't count in the shore conf. They can play whereever they like, but they obviously aren't playing here, so those games shouldn't count. That sounds odd.....

Best bet would be to try the Monmouth Reg. HS ath dept as Monmouth Reg. AD and coach directs the varsity event.

Yes there are Freshman and JV Shore Conference Tournaments, both are usually good tournaments especially since it exposes the younger kids to Tournament play and give them a opportunity to win a championship other then the division.
