Tony,
I have 2 questions for you reguarding Neptune. I am looking to see if they will make the state tourny at the cut off on Friday. First, I see in the paper that you have their record at 9-8. But I looked back at their schedual and I have them at 9-9. Do you know what their record is. Second, As per the NJSIAA I thought the rule for games in a season is 21 games 2 tournaments and the state tourn. Or 25 games 1 tourn and the state tourn. On highschoolsports.net they played in a trenton tourn april 21, they lost to shore in the MCT and I would think they will enter the SCT and the State tourn. Will this make them inelligable due to the fact that they played in 3 tourn plus the state tourn.
Tony, Do you know if Ranoudo is pitching for St. Rose tomorrow vs. Toms River North
Yes..Bart told me Ranaudo is pitching vs. TR North Wed...I am guessing Brebner (4-1 for TR N)..
I hope to be there...
Re: Neptune. I'm going to have to verify the record with coach before Friday...in looking in my own record book..I have them 7-8 as we speak!!
While our records in the Press are generally correct..they are not etched in stone by any means..especially the ones in the box scores..I will try and check on the ""bubble" teams Thursday night....
I wouldn't fret about the "Tenton Tournament." It just might be a game played at Waterfront Park....not sure though....
Re Neptune again
Now with yesterday's win over P Beach I have them 8-8..(they'e gaining ground!)
Re: TR N vs. St. Rose. May not be Brebner either for TRN Coach Ted Schlmay told Steve Falk last night TRN is mainly aiming at the OCT which begins this weekend.
senior anthony scorsone (3-0) 3 saves, to start tomorrow for TRN at St Rose
I would like to see an all sophomore team and an all junior team for ocean county,If you could help
I would like to see one, too!! That's really an impossible task. It's tough enough picking All-Shore.
At some point (when I have time if ever) I can run some more names by you.
the shore conference rule states teams may not play more then 21 games before the SCT they must save 4 games for the run of the tournament.
the njsiaa says you can play 25 games plus a tournamnet and the state tournament.
example: 21 reg season games 4 SCT games. plus county touranment and then the state touranment.
if a teams plays in other tournaments they must count as regualr season games.(non division games etc> sonme teams like Tr Sout have played in out of area tournaments and they just count those games their reg season.
hope that clears things up LOL
