From Steve Falk at the Ocean vs. Freehold game. Weinkfoksy went 1-for-2 with a two-run single, also walked and was hit by a pitch.
Ocean won, 8-4.
Ocean will host Middletown north Wednesday.

When are SC coaches going to wake up and realize that walking the Tuna turns into a 2B or 3B with the courtesy runner that Ocean uses. The kid is a 55meter indoor track star and stole 5 more bases today after Tuna singles, walked and was hit by a pitch, turned into 3 runs scored. He also runs for the pitcher when Hinkle and Rosencrantz pitches. Willie Rodriquez could lead the SC in SB's and runs scored very soon
Re: "Rodriguez the Rocket"....yes..that's an interesting angle...but I guess coaches would rather walk KW then give up a long ball...even though the percentages favor not walking him...
